Bengaluru-based direct-to-consumer athleisure brand BlissClub has raised Rs 160 crore (approximately $16.8 million) in a Series B funding round led by Singularity AMC, with existing investors Elevation Capital and Eight Roads Ventures also participating. The round drew a notable personal capital commitment from founder and CEO Minu Margeret and her partner, Meesho co-founder and CEO Vidit Aatrey — a signal that two of India's most closely watched direct-to-consumer entrepreneurs are betting on the same brand's next chapter.
Founded in 2020 by Margeret, BlissClub began as a technical activewear label built specifically around Indian women's body proportions, a category the founder has said global sportswear brands had consistently underserved. The company has since evolved into a broader omnichannel athleisure business, operating more than 40 retail stores across India alongside its online and marketplace presence, and recently expanded into menswear for the first time.
The round arrives on the back of a credibility signal that most Indian direct-to-consumer apparel brands cannot yet claim: revenue growing while losses shrink. In the fiscal year ended March 2025, BlissClub's operating revenue rose 51% year-on-year to Rs 131.5 crore, up from Rs 87 crore the previous year, while total losses fell 54.5% to Rs 20 crore from Rs 44 crore over the same period. That improving unit economics profile, alongside a maturing offline retail footprint, appears to have been central to the round's pricing and investor appetite.

BlissClub plans to use the fresh capital to expand into new product categories, scale its offline retail network further, strengthen product research and development, and hire across key functions as it enters its next growth phase. Margeret said active lifestyle apparel was increasingly becoming a staple of everyday wardrobes in India, and that the company's product R&D and sourcing capabilities gave it a distinctive right to win in the category. She added that her own personal investment in the round reflected a deepening conviction in the opportunity ahead, describing BlissClub as still early in its journey toward becoming "a large, enduring and category-defining Indian consumer brand."
The Series B follows an earlier Rs 33 crore round in May 2025 led by Elevation Capital, and takes BlissClub's total disclosed funding to roughly $40.95 million since inception. As India's athleisure and functional apparel market — estimated at over $13 billion — continues to expand alongside rising health consciousness and hybrid work and lifestyle patterns, BlissClub's blended physical-digital retail strategy positions it to compete both with legacy sportswear giants and a wave of newer direct-to-consumer entrants targeting the same increasingly crowded, high-growth category.
