Purple Style Labs, the parent company of luxury fashion platform Pernia's Pop-Up Shop, has set a price band of ₹546 to ₹575 per share for its initial public offering, valuing the company at up to ₹4,604 crore at the top end of the range. The IPO, announced on August 26, 2026, comprises a ₹680 crore fresh issue of shares with no offer-for-sale component, meaning the entirety of the proceeds will flow to the company's balance sheet rather than to existing shareholders looking to exit.
The issue is scheduled to open for subscription on August 31 and close on September 2, with anchor investor bidding taking place on August 28. Retail investors will need to commit a minimum of ₹14,196 at the lower end of the price band to participate in the offering, a threshold that places the IPO within reach of India's rapidly growing base of retail equity investors who have shown increasing appetite for consumer and D2C listings over the past several years.
Founded in 2015 by Abhishek Agarwal, Purple Style Labs built its business by acquiring Pernia's Pop-Up Shop in 2018 and subsequently expanding into an omnichannel luxury fashion house carrying around 1,109 designer brands. The company operates more than fifteen physical experience centres across major Indian cities, complemented by an international outpost in London, and has positioned itself as a bridge between India's fragmented community of independent designers and buyers seeking curated, high-end occasion wear.

The pricing of the IPO will be closely watched as a bellwether for investor appetite in India's consumer and luxury retail segment, a category that has historically traded at a premium to broader e-commerce businesses given its association with higher margins and a more resilient, less price-sensitive customer base. Market participants have noted that the entirely-fresh-issue structure of the offering — with no early investors cashing out — may be read as a signal of confidence from the company's cap table in its continued growth prospects as a public entity.
Purple Style Labs' IPO follows closely on the heels of its $40 million Series E funding round, also announced this week, which brought in a syndicate of investors including SageOne Flagship Growth OE Fund, Alchemy Long Term Ventures Fund, Bajaj Holdings & Investment and Minerva Ventures Fund. The proximity of the two fundraising events suggests the company was building out its capital base across both private and public channels in the weeks leading up to listing, likely to strengthen its balance sheet ahead of the scrutiny that comes with being a publicly traded entity.
Proceeds from the IPO are expected to be used for business expansion, working capital requirements and general corporate purposes, according to the company's public disclosures. For India's broader IPO pipeline, the listing adds to a year that has already seen more than 150 companies go public, even as the number of new-age technology and consumer listings has moderated compared with the record pace of prior years.
Should the IPO price at the top of its band, Purple Style Labs would enter public markets as one of the more richly valued homegrown luxury retail platforms in India, setting a reference point that investors and founders across the country's broader designer-wear and premium D2C ecosystem are likely to study closely in the months ahead.
