The tycoons on Bharat Ke Super Founders questioned him on margins, technology, and sustainability. He answered with calm precision and held his ground through every question. Suniel Shetty called him a chhota packet, bada dhamaka. Nitish Mittersain gave him ₹11 lakh. And the entire panel committed to mentor him. Athvik Amith Kumar started his company at 10.
Sumit Jasoria was watching Korean dramas with his nieces during the pandemic. They were 10 and 12. They were obsessed — not just with the shows but with the fashion in them. He noticed that Indian Gen Z wanted to dress like what they saw on screen, and that nothing in the Indian market was moving fast enough or affordably enough to give it to them. That observation became NEWME
Six months ago, Amazon announced $35 billion in new India investments. Yesterday, Andy Jassy flew to New Delhi, met Narendra Modi, and added $13 billion more. The total India commitment through 2030 is now $48 billion, of which $21 billion is directed at AI and cloud infrastructure. Amazon's total India investment from 2010 to 2030 will exceed $88 billion. No other foreign company has committed this much capital to India's digital infrastructure.
For decades, personalised wellness meant a nutritionist in Mumbai or a fitness coach in Bengaluru, at prices that made it structurally inaccessible to most of India. SuperLiving was founded on the thesis that AI changes that equation — and that the demand for trusted, personalised health guidance is larger and more urgent in Tier 2 and 3 India than anywhere else. One year in, 73% of its paying users are from small cities. Lightspeed agrees the thesis is correct.
Two landmark listings — Jio Platforms and the National Stock Exchange — could redefine India's primary market and reshape investor portfolios for the next decade.
The 2025 Marketing Technology Landscape counted more than 15,000 martech products. Gartner found that 70% of CMOs do not feel ready to scale AI despite allocating 15.3% of their budgets to it. JustAI raised $17M to explain why: the problem is not that marketing teams need more tools. It is that they need one system that orchestrates strategy, creative, decisioning, and data simultaneously — and learns from every decision it makes.
Traditional cybersecurity firms prevent attacks. Traditional insurers pay out when attacks succeed. Mitigata built the platform that does both — and adds AI-powered detection, risk measurement, compliance automation, digital forensics, and incident response in between. Founded in 2023. Series B by 2026. 800+ enterprise clients. 12x growth. India's first IRDAI-regulated exclusive cyber insurance broker.
Ather Energy listed on Indian exchanges in May 2025. Twelve months later, it has the numbers to justify its next raise: 69% volume growth, 74% revenue growth in Q4, EBITDA losses narrowing by 2,080 basis points in a single quarter, a retail network doubled to 700 centres, and 93% of customers choosing its premium software stack. The ₹2,500 crore is not a distress raise.
Every EV company is trying to build batteries that can survive fast charging. Exponent Energy looked at that problem and decided everyone was solving it backwards. Instead of making the battery more expensive, they moved the heat management to the charger. The result: 15-minute full charge, regular affordable LFP cells, 3,000-cycle warranty — and a business model that locks in the fleet operator for the life of the vehicle.
Recykal was built on a single conviction: the circular economy is fundamentally a technology problem. In FY26 it crossed ₹1,498 crore in gross revenue — a 53% jump. It is running Deposit Return System pilots across five Indian states and Bhutan, working with Aramco Digital in Saudi Arabia, and now targeting Europe and the UK. The $23 million bridge round is the capital that takes a proven Indian circular economy platform to the world.
