
Amazon investing $13B in India's AI and cloud infrastructure by 2030
Six months ago, Amazon announced $35 billion in new India investments. Yesterday, Andy Jassy flew to New Delhi, met Narendra Modi, and added $13 billion more. The total India commitment through 2030 is now $48 billion, of which $21 billion is directed at AI and cloud infrastructure. Amazon's total India investment from 2010 to 2030 will exceed $88 billion. No other foreign company has committed this much capital to India's digital infrastructure.
